Quick verdict: Dhamaal 4 is loud, silly and shamelessly engineered for a family crowd that wants familiar faces doing familiar nonsense. The treasure-hunt setup gives the film enough movement, but the comic hit rate is uneven. Rating: 3/5.
Indra Kumar returns to the Dhamaal zone with Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi in a Hindi comedy built around chaos, panic faces, physical gags and a big treasure chase. It opened in Indian theatres on July 10, 2026, and begins streaming on Netflix on September 4. Check the Dhamaal 4 OTT release guide for the exact 56-day window. What works
Dhamaal 4 understands its core audience. It does not pretend to be a subtle comedy. The film works best when it lets its cast bounce off each other, chase the same prize and turn simple situations into noisy slapstick. Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi still carry the memory of the franchise, while Ajay Devgn gives the newer stretch a recognisable star centre.
The treasure-hunt frame also helps. A comedy like this needs constant motion because the individual jokes are not all strong enough to stand alone. The chase format gives the film a clean engine: run, fight, panic, misunderstand, repeat. When that rhythm clicks, Dhamaal 4 becomes easy big-screen comfort food.
What does not work
The problem is consistency. Dhamaal 4 often mistakes volume for comic timing. A few gags land because the performers know this genre inside out, but several scenes stretch a joke past its natural end. The film wants every moment to feel like a peak, so the actual high points do not always pop.
The nostalgia is useful, but it is also a trap. Viewers who only want another round of familiar Dhamaal-style confusion may have fun. Anyone expecting sharper writing, fresher punchlines or a cleaner second-half payoff will find the film too busy for its own good.
Should you stream Dhamaal 4 on Netflix?
Stream Dhamaal 4 if you are watching with family, kids or a group that enjoys broad Hindi comedy. It is not a polished laugh machine, but it has enough familiar energy for a casual weekend watch. If you are tired of loud franchise comedy, the move to Netflix will not fix its uneven jokes.
Bingebaaz verdict
Verdict: Dhamaal 4 is a noisy but watchable family comedy with a few fun bursts, a lot of recycled chaos and a rating that lands at a fair 3/5.
