Octavia Spencer as Debbie Claybourne
Octavia Spencer plays Debbie Claybourne, a former lawyer living in London with her politician husband, David. Debbie believes her best friend Judith works as a forensic accountant until a failed hit exposes Judith’s real profession and pulls Debbie into a dangerous run across Europe.
Debbie is not trained for Judith’s world, but her intelligence, social confidence and problem-solving skills make her more than a passenger in the chase. Spencer keeps the character grounded as Debbie deals with danger and the betrayal of discovering that her closest friend has hidden an entire life from her.

Hannah Waddingham plays Judith Burton, an international assassin who has spent years presenting herself to Debbie as a forensic accountant. When a job goes wrong and someone from Judith’s past reappears, she has to reveal the truth and protect the friendship she may have damaged beyond repair.
Judith is the show’s primary action figure, handling fights, chases and weapons with practiced control. Her harder challenge is emotional: she can survive professional enemies, but she cannot force Debbie to forgive the deception.
