When does Ted Lasso Season 4 release on OTT?
The first episode lands on August 5, 2026. Apple TV is not dropping the entire season at once, so this is a weekly return rather than a one-night binge. New episodes arrive every Wednesday, with the finale scheduled for October 7.
The rollout covers 10 episodes in total. That gives the new story room to build across more than two months, while keeping the show’s familiar weekly conversation alive.
Where can you watch Ted Lasso Season 4?
Season 4 streams on Apple TV. The platform has confirmed a global premiere, and the India storefront already carries the series page.
If you are mapping out the rest of the week, our August 3 to 9 OTT release calendar puts Ted’s return alongside the other major streaming arrivals.
What is Season 4 about?
Ted returns to Richmond, but the job has changed. His new challenge is coaching a second division women’s football team. That shift gives the series a fresh dressing room, a new competitive climb and another chance to test Ted’s belief-first approach when the easy playbook no longer fits.
Jason Sudeikis returns as Ted. Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift are also back, while Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely join the new season.
Is Ted Lasso Season 4 a full-season binge?
No. Only the premiere episode arrives on August 5. Apple TV will release the remaining episodes weekly through October 7, so viewers looking for the complete-season binge will need to wait until the finale has streamed.
Why this comeback feels different
The central hook is not simply Ted walking back into his old role. Moving him to a women’s team in the second division resets the sporting stakes and puts him in another environment where trust must be earned. It is a clear new chapter, not a replay of Richmond’s earlier seasons.
