When does DANG! release on Netflix in India?

DANG! releases on Netflix on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. In India, the full season is expected at 12:30 pm IST.

That time needs one small asterisk. Netflix has not announced a separate, title-specific launch hour for DANG!. The 12:30 pm IST estimate follows Netflix’s standard schedule for originals, which is generally 12:00 am Pacific Time. With Los Angeles on daylight saving time on release day, that converts to 12:30 pm in India.

So if the show is not sitting in your row first thing in the morning, your app is not necessarily misbehaving. Check again around lunchtime, refresh the title page, or search for DANG! directly. You can also scan our OTT releases this week guide for September 7 to 13 if you want a backup watch for the wait.

Is DANG! weekly or a full-season drop?

This one is built for the “one more episode” crowd. Season 1 has eight episodes at around 30 minutes apiece, and all eight are set to arrive together. There is no weekly rollout to track.

On paper, that works out to roughly four hours for the complete season. Treat that as a couch-planning estimate rather than an exact stopwatch runtime, since individual episodes can run a little shorter or longer. Either way, it is an easy same-day finish and a much smaller commitment than a sprawling 10-hour season.

What is DANG! about?

The setup turns sibling order into a comic pressure cooker. Andrew and Eunice are enjoying their messy New York lives when their high-achieving older sister Ruthie blows up the polished life she had built. She moves into their orbit looking for the fun in being imperfect, while trying to help her younger siblings do something that vaguely resembles adulting.

Andrew Law created the animated sitcom and also voices Andrew. Stephanie Hsu leads as Ruthie, with Poppy Liu as Eunice. The wider voice cast includes Noël Wells, Edi Patterson, Jared Goldstein, SungWon Cho, Al Roberts and Adam Pally.

Who should watch DANG!?

Despite the bright animation, DANG! is firmly aimed at adults. Netflix India rates it A and tags it as raunchy, witty, irreverent, LGBTQ+ adult animation centred on a dysfunctional family. The trailer is equally clear about the lane: Ruthie’s life crisis involves divorce, infidelity and pregnancy, alongside strong language and drug jokes.

That makes it a good fit if you like fast, candid sitcoms where affection and terrible decisions share the same apartment. It is not the pick for a family watch with children, and viewers looking for gentle comfort comedy should expect a sharper edge. The sibling dynamic is the hook: Ruthie may look like the responsible one, but nobody enters this reunion with their life entirely under control.
