Netflix’s official Tudum release guide confirms the July 17 premiere. The movie closes the screen story that began with three seasons of Heartstopper, with Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring facing a new school year and the question of what comes after their final school bell.
Is Heartstopper Forever season 4?
No. Heartstopper Forever is a feature film rather than a fourth season. Netflix presents it as the final chapter of Nick and Charlie’s story, giving the series a movie-length conclusion instead of another episodic run.
The film draws from Alice Oseman’s forthcoming sixth Heartstopper graphic novel and the novella Nick and Charlie. That makes it a continuation of the existing Netflix story, not a reboot or a separate adaptation with a new cast.
What is the finale film about?
The Truham and Higgs group enters a new school year while Nick prepares for university and Charlie becomes more independent. Their relationship deepens, but the approach of life after school creates the film’s central emotional test. Their friends are also dealing with changing relationships, friendship and the bittersweet pressure of growing up.
The official trailer keeps the focus on parties, tender moments and the uncertainty around Nick and Charlie’s next step. It promises a farewell built around the warm, intimate tone that has defined the series rather than a sudden shift into a different kind of drama.
Who returns in Heartstopper Forever?
Kit Connor returns as Nick Nelson and Joe Locke returns as Charlie Spring.
