The Drawn Together cast is built around a protection job that quickly becomes a power struggle. Ester Expósito plays Marfil Cortés, the kidnapped daughter of a Spanish business tycoon determined to reclaim her independence, while Hugo Diego García plays Sebastian Moore, the bodyguard hired to keep her safe.
The film is Prime Video’s adaptation of Mercedes Ron’s novel Marfil, the first book in the Enfrentados duology. The screen story centres on Marfil’s family and Sebastian’s professional connections.
Ester Expósito as Marfil Cortés
Marfil is the daughter of Spanish businessman Alejandro Cortés. Her seemingly perfect New York life collapses when she is kidnapped and then released without an apparent ransom demand. The danger does not make her more willing to be controlled. It sharpens her need to understand what happened and learn how to defend herself.
Expósito has described that refusal to remain trapped in victimhood as central to the character. Marfil pushes for boxing and self-defence training, wants to return to the world outside her apartment, and repeatedly tests the limits Sebastian tries to impose. Her independence is therefore not a decorative personality trait. It drives the central conflict.
Hugo Diego García as Sebastian Moore
Sebastian is the reserved bodyguard Alejandro hires to protect Marfil around the clock. His assignment brings him into her home and daily routine, turning professional distance into forced proximity. Marfil sees surveillance and restriction where Sebastian sees necessary protection.
García plays him as both protector and unanswered question. Marfil needs his skills, resents his authority and becomes drawn to him. Their attraction develops as new threats emerge and the story keeps Sebastian mysterious.
Pablo Molinero as Alejandro Cortés
Alejandro is Marfil’s father and the powerful businessman who places Sebastian in charge of her safety. His response to the kidnapping is sweeping. Marfil’s classes are moved online and Sebastian is expected to remain with her 24 hours a day.
That decision creates the film’s first relationship fault line. Alejandro’s fear is understandable, but his protection plan takes control away from the daughter who has just survived being held captive. Sebastian enters the Cortés household as an employee, yet he becomes the person who must enforce the father’s rules face to face.
Zoe Bonafonte as Gabriela
Gabriela is Marfil’s younger sister, adding another Cortés family connection beyond Alejandro. Prime Video lists Bonafonte in the role but has not explained Gabriela’s part in the kidnapping mystery.
Joaquín Ferreira as Ray
Ray is identified as Sebastian’s FBI colleague, providing a link to his professional world as the bodyguard becomes increasingly involved with Marfil. Ferreira joins the supporting ensemble in the role.
Eric Masip as Iván and Lluís Homar as Logan
Prime Video lists Eric Masip as Iván and Lluís Homar as Logan. Its published material does not explain how either character fits into the story.
How the main relationships fit together
The key triangle is not romantic. Alejandro tries to keep Marfil safe by transferring authority to Sebastian, Marfil fights to recover control of her own life, and Sebastian has to protect someone who does not accept his rules. The attraction between Marfil and Sebastian grows inside that disagreement rather than replacing it.
The supporting relationships open the story in two directions. Gabriela connects Marfil to the family affected by the kidnapping, while Ray is identified as Sebastian’s FBI colleague. Iván and Logan remain the two disclosed names whose place in that network has not yet been explained.
