Drawn Together OTT Release Date: When to Watch on Prime Video

Drawn Together streams on Prime Video from September 9, 2026. Here is what Amazon has said about India timing, the cast and sequel.

Drawn Together premieres on Prime Video on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The romantic thriller is getting an exclusive worldwide Prime Video release. Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García lead the film as Marfil Cortés and Sebastian Moore.

The title needs one useful clarification before you add it to your watchlist: Drawn Together is Prime Video’s title for the adaptation of Mercedes Ron’s novel Marfil. It is also the first half of a planned two-film story, with the sequel Drawn Apart already announced.

What time will Drawn Together release in India?

Prime Video has confirmed September 9 as the worldwide release date and says the film will be available in more than 240 countries and territories. Amazon’s announcements do not list a separate India launch time.

The practical answer is to check the Prime Video app on September 9. Amazon describes the film as a Prime Video exclusive included with the Prime subscription, although membership terms and pricing vary by region.

Why Drawn Together is also called Marfil

Mercedes Ron readers may know this story as Marfil. The novel is the opening book in the Enfrentados duology, while Prime Video is calling the adaptation Drawn Together.

That title distinction also explains why the movie is only the beginning of the adaptation. Prime Video says it is adapting the second book in the Enfrentados duology as Drawn Apart. The sequel has been confirmed, but its streaming date has not been announced.

What is Drawn Together about?

Marfil Cortés is the daughter of a Spanish business tycoon whose carefully controlled New York life collapses after she is kidnapped and then released. Her father responds by assigning Sebastian Moore as her bodyguard. Marfil resists the restrictions around her, while Sebastian keeps his distance, but forced proximity gradually turns their guarded relationship into a romance.

The story later moves back toward Spain as new threats make the kidnapping feel less like an isolated event. Prime Video is positioning the film as a romantic thriller, not simply a bodyguard romance, with danger and distrust running alongside the attraction.

Ester Expósito plays Marfil and Hugo Diego García plays Sebastian. The supporting cast includes Eric Masip as Iván, Pablo Molinero as Alejandro, Zoe Bonafonte as Gabriela, Lluís Homar as Logan and Joaquín Ferreira as Ray. Óscar Pedraza directs from a screenplay by Sofía Cuenca.

Where it fits in Prime Video’s Mercedes Ron adaptations

Drawn Together is the next step in Prime Video’s growing run of Mercedes Ron adaptations after the Culpables films and Tell Me Softly. Amazon MGM Studios has grouped those projects under its “House of Ron” partnership with the author, which now covers several book series and planned follow-ups.

For viewers, the important sequence is simple: start with Drawn Together on September 9, then wait for Drawn Apart to continue the Enfrentados adaptation. Our Drawn Together cast guide explains how Marfil, Sebastian, Alejandro, Gabriela and Ray fit into the story. If you are planning the rest of the week, the film is also included in our September 7-13 OTT release guide.
